The Abode of God’, as Haryana is famously referred to, might make you think if there is a god, he might probably be here. 

Haryana is one of the wealthiest states of India as it is a rich agriculture state which was a part of Punjab till 1966 and shares its borders with several states of India like Rajasthan Delhi .

◾ Food Culture of Haryana :- 

Haryanvi cuisine is like the people of Haryana – simple, earthy, and inextricably linked to the land. In Haryana, the emphasis is on food that is wholesome, fresh, and prepared with little or no fuss at all.  The authentic cuisine of Haryana offers finger licking delicacies namely- Kachri ki Sabji, Churma, Malpuas, Bathua Raita, Meethi Gajar, Singhri ki Sabji, Meethe Chawal, Rabri and much more. It will surely woo your heart and leave you with a lingering aftertaste, asking for more. The people of Haryana give a lot of importance to milk products like curd and lassi, and hence incorporate them in all their meals.

   The folk music of Haryana has been spread by the Bhats, Saangis, and Jogis. Music is made using many traditional instruments like Sarangi, Harmonium, Chimta, Dhadd, Dholak, Manjeera, Khartal, Damaru, Duggi, Daf, Bansuri, Been, Ghungroo, Dhak, Gharha (by adding rubber cover on top of the pitcher), Thali (beaten with a stick to make music) and Shankha.

The seasonal and religious festivals glorify the culture of this region. The dance is said to be the mother of all arts. In each every part of India you can se different festivals according to the different religions .
